Notebooks stacks

Leighton Jun 16, 2016 02:37PM PDT

The ability to "zoom out" and see all of my notebooks in stacks. Similarly to how you can look at photos in the iPad photos app where you have collections of photos arranged by stacks. I'd love to be able to 'zoom out' and have a complete overview of my notebooks and be able to peak into them with a pinch as well as get an idea of how many dividers I was using and total number of pages/attachments/photos per notebook. A 'zoom out' feature which showed notebooks as 'stacks' of paper would be awesome. Thanks.

Hey there,

Thank you for the idea. The ability to see all notebooks like if they were on a book shelf sounds really natural. Right this moment we are working on more artful covers for notebooks and light overall theme. It seems like making a bookshelf view might get a part of that roadmap. Keep an eye on the product news in our Facebook community:

Along the same lines, it would be very helpful to have a way (in the iPad app) to re-order the notebooks, as they are currently showing up in the order they were created. It doesn't appear to be possible to change this sequencing. Or is it?

Hi Steve,

Thank you for writing to us!

We have the re-order notebooks feature in our list and we are planning to implement it in our future releases.

For now there is one workaround that can help you:
- double check all of your notebooks are synced (located on the cloud storages);
- close the notebooks in Outline;
- open them again from the storages in the order you want.

Do you think this workaround will be useful for you?
