OUTLINE Helping Hand
Hi Gene,
Thank you for bringing your feature requests to us!
All 3 of your suggestions are already in our list. We made some improvements with the handwriting in the last version however we're not planning to stop perfecting the feature. Stay tuned and keep an eye on our future releases!
Then we're definitely planning to add the ability to move notebooks and we're thinking about movable pages / sections too.
Let me write to you when I'll have any precise ETAs for the upcoming features.
I recently bought the iPad version and must admit that the sync facility is totally broken. First ,opening the notebook on cloud is opening a 'backup' not the actual notebook. It ends up creating a local copy of the section instead of operating on the copy in iCloud. I have not figured out a way to store notebooks on iCloud form mac and open them on iPad to work seamlessly.
not sure if this is limitation of app or iCloud. Even if latter, please stop calling it sync-across-cloud. It is backup-and-restore (at best). If I am doing anything wrong then please educate me.
If there is no 'sync' across devices then I would have to figure out a way to return the app until such function becomes available and continue using Notability.

OUTLINE Helping Hand
Hi Mukesh,
Sorry to hear that you're facing such difficulties with iCloud sync! Let me try to help!
Do you remember, did you get your Mac version of Outline from our website or through App Store? The version from our Online Store (with trial and license) doesn't support iCloud synchronization. Maybe that's the problem? However you can use other cloud services to store your notebooks - OneDrive and Box. You'll be able to find the detailed descriptions on how to move your local Outline notebooks to the cloud storages in your User Guide for Mac (if you deleted it: Help > Restore User Guide): User Guide > Explore Outline > Sharing options.
And if you do remember buying your Outline from App Store and you still can not open the actual notebooks (not their backups) from iCloud, could you please send me the screenshots of what do you have in your Outline iCloud folder (to support@outline.ws)? As usually you can not open the notebook backups with + button on iPad: if you don't have any actual notebooks in your iCloud, the folder will be empty.
And note that we'll be able to refund you in case you'd like to switch to App Store Outline version to use iCloud sync.
