Hello,

First of all, thank you for your wonderful product. Absolutely a pleasure working with it after years of struggling by on other note taking apps.

I have two quick questions:

1- What sort of encryption is used on the protected sections? Is it some version of AES?

2- Is there any form of cloud syncing that goes on automatically, or does it have to be set up manually when first starting the program.

Thanks!

-Edward

Hi Edward,

Thanks for reaching out!
And I apologise for delay with my reply - we've been on New Year holidays up until today.

1. - Well, apparently there is no actual encryption of the section's content.
The app just sets the password that closes the section in both Outline and OneNote.

2. - No, we don't have automatic sync enabled.
Mostly because many of our users purchase the app to be able to keep the notes local only.
If you need to sync the notebook with multiply devices, you need to place the notebook's folder to one of the cloud storages manually.

Feel free to write to me if there are any other particular questions.
I'll be happy to help!

Edward,

A small update from the dev team:

1. - I've got you confused. We do have encryption: it's AES 256.
If you have any specific question, feel free to write. I will forward them to the team and get back to you.
