I have never used an Apple-device before, but I'm thinking
about buying an iPad Pro 9.7 & Apple Pencil for work. As I use Android on my smartphone and Windows on my PC, I am using Microsoft OneNote to sync all my notebooks between my devices. The OneNote-app (on iOS & Android) lacks many features of the Windows-version which I consider to be extremely important. So I would like to know if Outline Plus on iOS supports the features I need.
1. Can I insert files (Word, Excel, PDF) into my pages so that they show up like an email-attachment inside my notepage ?
2. Can I insert PDF-files as printouts inside my notepages so that I can make annotations inside the PDF-file with the Apple Pencil ?
3. Can I create pages (A & B) and make those pages subpages of another page (C) and have pages A & B disappear when I don't need them ?
4. Can I put multiple sections together into a section-group ?
I use OneNote extensively and have lots of sections and pages organized in groups and subpages, otherwise I would lose track of things.
Maybe your app does not have some of the features I have been asking for. So I have another question:
When Apple announced the iPhone 7 with its A10Fusion CPU, they said that Adobe Lightroom was running on iPhone 7 with 80% of the features from the Desktop-version. If Outline doesn't support the features I need, because the A9X-CPU in the 2016 iPad Pro is not fast enough, maybe you can program the features in for the 2017 iPad Pro.
I am intending to get a refurbished 2016 iPad Pro, once Apple has announced the 2017 model. However, I'd be willing to spend more money on the 2017-model, if it's necessary to get the features I described.
I just want a light tablet with pen-support, great battery-life and great OneNote-integration.
