Langauge setting

I bought the Mac version in German. The translation is horrific. I would .like to use it in English. How do I switch to another language? Cam't find it in settings.

Hello Chris,

Please open Terminal app on your Mac and run this command:
-----------------
defaults write com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone "com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language" "en"

Does it help? Do you now have Outline in English?

I have the same problem. My version is in Spanish and I want to use it in English. I tried using the terminal commands as you suggested. The first line (defaults write com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone) runs without problem, but the second one ("com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language" "en") returns the following error message: -bash: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language: command not found

If both commands are used simultaneously, nothing happens. Any other ideas?

Hello!
Please use only the second line. You do not need to duplicate com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone
Let us know if it still doesn't help!

Thank you for your answer. I tried using the second line only, but it still doesn´t help.

Here is the error that is shown on the Terminal:

1. The line with quotation marks:
iMac:~ User$ "com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language" "en"
-bash: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language: command not found

2. The line with quotation marks only for the first part:
iMac:~ User$ "com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language" en
-bash: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language: command not found

3. The line with quotation marks only for the language:
iMac:~ User$: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language "en"
-bash: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language: command not found

4. Line without quotation marks:
iMac:~ User$: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language en
-bash: com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language: command not found

I thank you for your time and I am looking forward to your reply!

Please try out this command, written in one line: defaults write com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone "com.gorillized.outlinemac.standalone.user_language" "en"

I tried the command and nothing happened. The Terminal did not return any error message, but the program continues to be in Spanish!
