I also would like to be able to save a notebook as a template for future notebooks. In my case, I am looking at using this application for my profession as an attorney and would use the app in preparing for a trial. Thus, there would be a duplication of sections and pages within sections. For example, the repeat sections would be "Plaintiff's Case", "Defendants Case", "Check List", "Contacts", "Exhibits", "Closing"
Within each of those sections I would have preset pages (at least to start out).
I too would like to have the ability to create and manage templates. I do a lot of project management and some of the items I handle are notes. Have to setup each time my notes layout, would like to be able to have a folder called templates. Name each template as I want, select the template, copy and the go to my notebook section and paste the template in and start working.
i agree - i'm coming from CP Notebook, and being able to create my favourite style of notebook for class note-taking was a great feature. i didn't have to recreate sections every term for Administrative, Lectures, Readings, etc.
I also like these suggestions of a notebook template. But to do this you need to first able to create page templates which sorely missing from Outline. My vote is for both page and notebooks templates.
