Move multiple selections

Paul Mar 18, 2017 08:34AM PDT

Can you please integrate the feature, allowing to move multiple selections. Moving multiple images or image and text at the same time for rearrangement purposes.

That would add a lot to usability :)

Best regards!

Paul,

The same question: is it Mac or iPad Outline you're using?

I know it's a difficulty on iPad and I can add your vote to our "lasso tool" feature.
On Mac, however, you can move multiply objects with cut&paste:
- select the objects you want to move > CMD+X > CMD+V.

Please write to me if it works!

Hi AlenaZ,

cut an paste actually works, but a simple drag and drop feature not only for one selection, but also for multiple would be much more intuitive.

Best Regards

Paul,

Got it, thank you for clarification!

If you want to move multiply sections I can suggest you to move the section files in notebooks folder.
Please take a look at this recording, I've shown something like that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSYr5bWrI6E&feature=youtu.be

If you need to find your notebook's folder, please write to me.
