Import of data from the USB stick (I-easedrive)

Bernhard Kelch Apr 20, 2017 11:39AM PDT

Hello!
I use your program on the MAC and sync it via a USB stick with onenote on the PC. It Folds Everything Wonderfully. I can not use a cloud for the data! Is there the possibility to synchronize the data without the Cloud with an iPad. I use a USB flash drive from EasyDrive certified for iPad.

Thanks for your support!

Hi Bernhard,

Thanks for reaching out!

Apparently we don't support USB flash drives on iOS.
But I can give you some other variants of how to move your import / export without cloud sync.

First of all we have iTunes.
You can upload your notebook from iPad to open it later on Mac and PC using the cable to connect your iPad with computer.
Here is an article on how you can move the notebooks this way:
http://help.outline.ws/customer/portal/articles/698919
Please note that you need to compress the notebook folder before uploading to iTunes:

But it's not the real sync.
In case you'd like to try actually syncing without clouds, you can use WebDAV.
Here is an article on how to use WebDAVnav app for Mac: http://outline.ws/blog/how-to-sync-notes-across-devices-without-clouds/#more-1000
Running it on your Mac, you'll be able to open and sync files on your other devices.
I think it's possible to mount it on PC as well.
