Why can't the 2nd letter be capitalised

Alan Jun 19, 2017 02:57AM PDT

I'm using Outline for OSX Version 3.20 (39.200.501).

Here's a "oh no, not this again" gripe...

I know there's a *Correct TWo INitial CApitals* option but one day can wee look forward to code that'll wait until a) the third letter turns out to also not be a capital (so someone can type ONE) or b) it's only a 2-letter word like TO. Surely you should really only be doing this if the word a) has 3 or more letters and b) the 3rd letter is lower case?

Hi Alan,

Thanks for reaching out!

And right, that's the one annoying "feature".
I remember how we discussed the proper scenario for it to actually work: it's just a little bit more complicated than it looks like.
We would need to combine the word correction with an actual dictionary.

So I hope we will fix it someday, but not right now.
