Spell Check

Paul Apr 12, 2013 01:32AM PDT

My spelling is terrible and I rely on either a spell checker or at least an indication that I have spelled a work incorrectly (like a dotted red underline). I do not see this in Outline. Is there something I am missing, not see, or is it not available, if not, is it something you are working on?

Hi Paul,
there is no spell check yet. We are going to consider it for future updates.

I don't know much about app programming (I'm from a mainframe coding background 20 years ago), but most MAC apps use what appears to be a built in spell check function.

I have bought Outline for OSx just this morning and I'm exceptionally surprised that this basic function hasn't been included.

Spell chech (OS X told me I spelled it wrong but I chose to ignore it) is a must.

spell check please. It is a basic function...had I known it wasn't there... doubt you'd have gotten my money,.

Agreed - I was open-jaw amazed this was not included. My spelling is great, but my typing is not, and so I depend on my editor to highlight all my mistakes.

Plus, this is not just a feature to fix my bad spelling or typing, but it can impact my ability to search for text when I spell names or other items incorrectly.

I really look forward to using the app when this feature is added.
